Instructor Bio: My Grandmother taught me how to sew when I was a young child. I learned to quilt over 40 years ago by taking a Beginning Quilting Class. I started my journey hand quilting and piecing. As quilting and technology evolved, I continued to learn and grow. I took my first Freemotion Quilting class over 20 years ago (on a domestic machine) and moved to a longarm over 15 years ago. One of my quilt club members admired my quilting and became my first client. This led to the creation of Highview Quilts, my Custom Longarm and Edge-to-Edge Longarm Quilting business. I was asked over 4 years ago by my local quilt shop to become a quilting instructor. I love sharing my experiences and helping others enjoy the magic of quilting! I admired the GE Stripology® Rulers and quilt patterns, so I followed the training to become a GE Designs Certified Instructor. I currently teach (or have taught) Beginner to Advanced Freemotion, Ruler Work, Longarm, Prostitcher, Stripology, and piecing classes.
