Details:	Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop as we make the Hemingway Pouch! This stylish zippered pouch is perfect for organizing sewing supplies, travel essentials, or everyday accessories. Learn techniques for installing zippers, working with interfacing, and achieving professional-looking results. Confident beginners and experienced sewists are welcome. Bring your materials, enjoy a supportive sewing environment, and leave with a beautiful handmade pouch you'll use again and again. Join now Hemingway Pouch Workshop Supply List We're excited to sew with you! Please read through this supply list carefully before class to ensure you're ready to begin sewing when you arrive. Before Class Pre-quilted fabric is required. This workshop focuses on construction techniques, so your exterior fabric must be completely quilted before class. Your quilted fabric can be made using: Fabric and batting quilted together with your own quilting design Pre-quilted fabric Quilted fabric prepared using your preferred method Please have all required pattern pieces cut according to the pattern before class whenever possible. Required Supplies Hemingway Pouch pattern Pre-quilted fabric (prepared before class) Coordinating fabric for any additional pattern pieces as required Interfacing and stabilizers listed in the pattern Zippers (sizes specified in the pattern) Coordinating thread Sewing machine in good working order Power cord and foot pedal Standard presser foot Wonder Clips or sewing clips Pins Fabric marking pen or pencil Small scissors or thread snips Seam ripper Basic sewing supplies Optional but Recommended Double-sided sewing tape for zipper installation Stiletto or awl Extra bobbins wound with matching thread Zipper foot Need Supplies? We carry the Hemingway Pouch pattern, zippers, hardware, interfacing, stabilizers, and other bag-making supplies in the shop. If you need help selecting fabrics or preparing your quilted exterior, stop by before class—we're happy to help! We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early to get your machine set up so we can begin sewing on time.
