Materials Needed
Bring to Session 1:
- 12–30 washed T-shirts (depending on desired quilt size)
- Notebook and pencil
- Post-it Notes
- Photos or ideas for layout inspiration
Bring to Session 2 and Beyond:
- Sewing machine in good working order
- Rotary cutter, mat, and ruler
- Neutral piecing thread
- Fusible knit stabilizer/interfacing
- Basic sewing supplies
Homework Between Sessions
Students should expect homework between each class. T-shirt quilts require preparation time outside of class to ensure everyone can progress through the project together.
