WebFabrics Spring Retreat
The WebFabrics Spring Quilt Retreat will be held May 16 - 18, 2025, with an option one-day workshop on May 15th. This is a great way to connect with quilters for a time of relaxation, sharing, and learning!
WebFabrics Retreats aims to provide a happy sewing place where you can sew all you want, learn a few new skills, and enjoy the company of friends. Whether you are finishing up UFOs, starting a new project, attending a demo, shopping, or just mingling around the room socializing….
How you spend time at our Spring Quilt Retreat is completely up to you.
This Spring will be a little different with Thursday being a dedicated workshop with Beth Helfter, EvaPaige Designs. You can choose to just take the one day workshop or come for the full event.
The draft agenda will provide you more insight into the activities each day. The agenda is intended to give you a plan for the event to allow you to participate as much as you want in any structured event. Our goal is to have a few “extra fun” things thrown in because we just can’t help ourselves. Retreat Fee - $400.00.

Special Guests:
Kiley Ferons of Modish Quilter Magazine and Kiley’s Quilt Room will be here Thursday evening for a Trunk Show and fun sewing project. Kiley began her quilting business in 2015 providing longarm services. Over the years her interest shifted from quilting to quilt pattern design. She designs patterns under Kiley's Quilt Room. She and a few friends founded Modish Quilter Magazine in 2021.
Kiley has just released her first book and will be teaching Gaggle Pincushion which uses Flying Geese. All materials will be provided.
Erin Grogan of LoveSewModern will be here Friday Morning. Erin has just released her first book and will be holding a Trunk Show and a talk on Finding Your Quilt Identity. This lecture dives into the discovery of who you are as an artist and quilter. She’s met many wonderful quilters who feel like they don’t who what they “like”. They say things like they only make quilts from kits or feel like they have to use what fabric is currently popular. There is nothing wrong with this approach if it brings you joy, but if you are looking to grow this lecture might be just want you need. Erin breaks down the four different stages of a quilter and then shares her process for finding the color palette that represents you.
Sarah Thomas of Sariditty will join us Saturday. Sarah Thomas is the creator, designer, artist, and educator behind the scenes of SARIDITTY. She is also an international and national quilting, piecing, and thread educator, as well as a surface pattern designer. Sarah graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Aviation Technology, where she then went on as the chief pilot for an engineering firm. By chance, Sarah discovered she had a knack for free motion quilting. Basing her FMQ on the doodles that have filled her notebooks for years, she calls her unique style Sketchbook Quilting.
